Google was started by 2 people at college. But it%26#039;s a long story. Other people own it now.

To start your own website, You can either get a free one at www.freewebs.com or www.piczo.com etc.. (Just search Free web hosting in google)

Or host your own with a program called Apache which is very useful.

Use Xampp. It has a FTP, Apache and MySQL all in one.

Good luck and i hope this helps.

Go to yahoo web creater!

Other Replys:Go to Yahoo geocities and enjoy.

Other Replys:Google has a staff of programmers and designers who do the site along with all the stuff in the background you don%26#039;t see on the page.

Most of the big sites are projects done by teams at various companies. Lots of people outsource it to web-design pros, but plenty do it in-house too.

The days of one guy working with Notepad and Paintbrush cranking out sites are pretty much over. It%26#039;s big business now.
