From your experience who is good and who is bad?
What kind of site can you expect from 1gb disc space?
Is 15gb of data transfer per month enough for a frequently visited site?
Where can I get information on these statistics?
Appreciate your help.
Who%26#039;s the best web host for a .co.uk domain?
apache2 with php5 - both free and reasonably straight-forward to set up, if you don%26#039;t have static IP then register with dyndns.org and install a dynDNS client.
now you can run your own web server!
of course if you have a mickey mouse ISP throttling your bandwidth then forget it!
Who%26#039;s the best web host for a .co.uk domain?
theres http://www.2-minute-website.com/ which my mum uses to host her website. the only bad thing is that all the websites that have been made with these people are the same layout!!
Other Replys:You can%26#039;t do much better then 1 %26amp; 1
I%26#039;ve had my business with them for a while and they are first class. Great service, loads of features and good prices. (and no, I don%26#039;t work for them!)
Other Replys:Have to agree with Wandering Blade - 1%26amp;1 have been good for me and very cheap. In terms of web space 1gb can give you a substantial website - but it depends on what you want to put up on it, and same goes for transfer - what are you offering to visitors?
Other Replys:Midphase seems to be good.
