Can anyone point me to the best web hosting site for a small Uk Florist business?

I have a small florist in the UK. To compete and having lost passing trade. I realize that I have to move onto the web. I am a complete novice. I have read about paying for hits, not getting hits in the search engines and also some people not using some search engines. Is it possible that some one can tell me where to start. I am not bad with HTML. Also I understand that some of these D.I.Y Packages are so closely connected with there codex that it just causes queueg problems. Is there a simple straight forward soloution for a start off with a site to read up on and that also accept credit cards for high response and little captital out lay. Cheaky Yea. But some one must have some ideas. As Usual. Thanks to all those who have helped in the past.

I am currently making a site for myself here: www.freewebs.com You can make a site via wizards or use your html skill - I am in the same as you I can write html but know jack about perl java etc. If you signup to paypal you can use there wigedts %26quot;buy now buttons%26quot;. So you do not need to know how to make a shopping cart. It%26#039;s time consuming, but if you are on a tight budget this is definately the way to start! Good luck

Other Replys:Shop around, but I think DataFlame do very affordable packages that will take care of basic users and give advanced users enough room and tools to put something really decent together.

You should also check:

- if your internet provider gives you free web space with your account (many do)

- if Interflora or any other agency you belong to can help get you listed through their network
